Frequently asked questions
What is Servus and how does it work?
Servus is an online wholesale marketplace for food and beverage. Suppliers list their products and set their wholesale prices; buyers discover and order from dozens of suppliers in one place, on one account, with one basket. It is built for foodservice – cafes, offices, stores and kitchens buying the things they sell and serve every week.
How much does Servus cost?
Servus is free for buyers – there is no subscription and no fee to browse or order. Suppliers pay a commission on marketplace orders, and no commission at all on orders from customers they bring to Servus themselves. The fees page sets out the rates in full.
How do payments work?
Buyers pay by card at checkout, or on invoice once an account is set up for it. Suppliers are paid out on the orders they fulfill.
Where does Servus deliver?
Servus delivers in the markets its suppliers serve, and the list grows as suppliers join. Enter your delivery address when you sign up and we will tell you right away whether we reach you.
How do I get started?
Buyers sign up with a delivery address and start browsing. Suppliers apply to sell, and we get in touch to set up your catalog and your storefront.
Can my whole team order?
Yes. One account can carry several people – invite your co-workers and they can place orders against the same account, with the same saved list and delivery details.
